Just placed my seed order last night for my fall vegetable planting. I always think fall adds a renewed vigor to the doldrums of summer. It certainly has me looking forward to starting my fall crop seeds and envisioning a robust, healthy crop of greens, broccoli, lettuce, cauliflower, etc..

But it certainly is not all fun and games. The dreaded clearing out the beds. Turning the soil and topping off. Checking the irrigation for leaks needing repair. All stuff that is done during the warm, humid mornings and afternoons. All for the hope of a bountiful harvest and a freezer full of veggies.
