Over the last week we have had some great things happen. Our first donations!! Kencove Fencing Supply donated 164' of poultry netting and a 2 joule electric charger. These folks have a heart for giving and definitly have a loyal customer in 180 Degree Farm. I can wait to try out the poultry netting on our chickens. I believe this is the same netting that Nature's Harmony uses to keep there Turkeys in. Seems to work great for them.
Randall Burkey was our other generous donor so far. They were able to provide us with 6 chick waterers. This will certainly come in handy here next month when we start our day old layers.
In other news, we have found some great topsoil that we will hopefully have delivered this week. It is sooooo much better than the white alcovy clay that we have now. We are gearing up for a spring 2010 crop and this is certainly a step in the right direction.
